Our Philosophy

We started The Design Academy because we saw a problem — students were sitting in classrooms of 50, getting lost in the crowd, and being handed study material instead of understanding.

We do it differently. With only 7 to 8 students per batch, every session is a conversation. Every doubt is answered. Every student is seen as an individual — with their own strengths, their own pace, their own way of thinking visually.

This is why, in 8 years, not a single student has left without qualifying. Not because we're strict — but because we genuinely care about each person who walks through our door.

Taught by Practitioners

Every subject is taught by someone actively working in the field. Architecture drawing, spatial thinking, design aptitude — real knowledge, not textbook repetition.

Tiny Batches

7 to 8 students maximum per batch. We turn away students to protect this. Your questions never wait, your growth never stalls.

We deliberately limit yearly intake. Quality is our commitment — not scale. This is how we have maintained a 100% record across 8 consecutive years.

How a year

works.

We run structured batches throughout the year, beginning with a foundation phase and building steadily toward exam readiness. Every batch is a cohort — students grow together, challenge each other, and celebrate together.

Students Per Batch

The most important number in everything we do. Small enough that Jay knows every student's strengths, weaknesses, and progress intimately.

Max Students Per Year

We deliberately cap annual intake. This is how we've maintained 100% results for 8 straight years. We choose quality over volume, every single time.

Doubt Sessions

There is no limit on clarifications. In a batch of 7, no question is too basic, no concept too niche. Every doubt is resolved before moving forward.
